Mrs. Asangwa Patience is a widow and mother who once relied on farming specifically harvesting and selling huckleberry to provide for the young children her late husband left behind. Her only source of livelihood was a piece of farmland she worked tirelessly on. Tragically, that land was taken away by her husband’s family, leaving her stranded and unable to sustain her household.
In a moment of desperation, Mrs. Patience reached out to B.E.Y.A.N.A, sharing her story and pleading for support to help her care for her children. Moved by her resilience and courage, BEYANA responded through its representatives and provided her with a sum of 200,000 FCFA to help her rebuild and regain stability. Her story is a powerful reminder of why BEYANA exists to stand in the gap, restore dignity, and empower women to rise again.
Her below her message of gratitude:
A Message of Gratitude from Mrs. Asangwa Patience
On behalf of the Asangwas family, I want to express our deepest gratitude to the B.E.Y.A.N.A organization. The support you gave us came at a time of great need, and we see it as a divine blessing.
May the Lord Jesus, who inspired you to help, continue to bless and strengthen you. I promise not to let you down, and I pray that God will expand the work you are doing in His vineyard touching lives and restoring hope.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
